3. Analytics and Session Replay
We use PostHog to understand how people use Music School Manager, improve the product, diagnose errors, and keep the service reliable. For signed-in users, analytics may be connected to account details such as name, email address, role, school, subscription status, and product activity. We also collect page navigation and interaction events on our public and signed-in pages.
We may use targeted session replay during owner onboarding and on internal school-management pages. Inputs are masked, and password fields, payment details, Stripe elements, and stored-card identifiers are blocked from replay. We do not intentionally record payment credentials, network request bodies, or network request headers. Session replays are retained for up to 30 days. Product analytics events may be retained for up to seven years for product analysis, security, reliability, and legal or contractual needs.
